Receive and process 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, rescue and related services; track call activity into a computer aided dispatch program; monitor and operate a dispatch radio console to keep responders connected and informed.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; three years of experience in a clerical/receptionist field or in the police, fire, nursing or EMS field; insurance acceptable driver’s license; TIME System Certification within six months of hire; successful completion of fingerprinting and background check as required by CJIS – Security Policy within 15 days of hire and successful recheck according to time frame indicated in Policy while in applicable position.
- $22.19 - $28.25/Hour.
- $2.00/Hour Premium Pay during eligible periods.
- 40 Hours/week. Primarily 12-Hour Nights shifts, two weekends/month, holidays.
