BACK TO ALL DEPARTMENTS
First responders are a key element of our mission to prepare, respond and recover from disaster. Here you will find information on training and other resources available through this department.

NIMS (National Incident Management System) and ICS (Incident Command System) have become the standard for emergency responses.  Click on "Training &  Exercising" for more information on all training resources. Click here for the NIMS training chart updated in 2020.

Resources
When incidents escalate beyond local capabilities, Emergency Management can be called to provide additional resources.
  • Emergency Operations Center (EOC):  located in this office, with an "overflow" room. The EOC is equipped with phones, computers, smartboard, maps, status charts and other supplies. The purpose of the EOC is to provide a central place for resource coordination.
  • Public Information support is available for all incidents.
WI-CAMS ID
Effective March 1, 2018, Marinette County Emergency Management began issuing responder ID cards using the WI Credentialing and Asset Management System (WI-CAMS) to authorized Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement personnel.  Instructions and request forms for WI-CAMS ID cards can be downloaded from the Forms & Documents section.  There is a separate form for each responder type.
