ADAPT is the publicly funded and operated outpatient clinic (mental health, substance abuse and crisis counseling services) of the Marinette County Human Services Department. The staff is diversified and qualified in their fields of expertise. ADAPT has a full time psychiatrist and additional full time Master’s degree therapists. There are also substance abuse certified counselors on staff. ADAPT is the only agency in the area to have this comprehensive outpatient psychiatric service available full time. Mental Health Services - ADAPT offers a full range of counseling and psychiatric services to Marinette County residents including assessment/evaluation, individual, family and group counseling (for children and adults). In addition, psychiatric and psychological evaluations are performed upon referral. ADAPT clinic takes Medical Assistance (BadgerCare), private insurance, some EAP (employee assistance program) referrals and private pay (based on Sliding Fee Scale). Crisis Intervention - offers 24 hour, 7 days per week,
crisis intervention, and inpatient consultation.

Niagara Clinic Office: As of January 1, 2025 the Niagara Clinic is now closed. Assessments, counseling, crisis, and psychiatric services for residents in the northern part of Marinette County will now be provided through the Marinette Clinic with virtual options available under some circumstances. Please contact the Marinette office at 715-732-7760 for more information.
