The Marinette County Highway Department is dedicated to the construction and maintenance of a safe and cost effective highway system for its citizens. 


Department Facilities
The Highway Department's main facility is located in Peshtigo, Wisconsin.  In addition to the Peshtigo facility, there are two other maintenance shops located in Crivitz and Pembine to provide faster response time and more efficient operation. 

Maintenance/Construction
The Highway Department performs maintenance on 330 miles of county highway and 154 miles of State and Federal highway.  Responsibilities include:  road construction, concrete repair, pavement patching, crack filling and the seal coating of pavement, shoulder maintenance, bridge and culvert maintenance, highway and ATV/UTV signing, pavement marking, and winter maintenance.
