Permits
Bridge Aid Petition Form - Download Town bridges or culverts; construction and repair; county aid:
A town that has voted to construct or repair any bridge or culvert that is on, or that after the construction will be connected to, an existing highway maintained by the town may file a petition for county aid with the County Highway Commissioner. The town and county shall each pay one-half of the cost of construction or repair per State Statue 82.08(3). In determining the cost of construction or repair of any bridge or culvert, the cost of construction or repairing any approach not exceeding 100 feet in length and has a span greater than or equal to 36-inches per State Stature 82.08(2) shall be included.
Driveway Permit - Download A permit must be obtained from the Marinette County Highway Department for driveway construction or modifications on or across any Marinette County Highway right-of-way.
Implements of Husbandry Permit - Download No fee required. Please obtain signed permission from either the County and/or the appropriate municipality(s).
Overweight/Oversize Permit - Download An Over Weight permit must be obtained from the Marinette County Highway Department for the operation of a vehicle in which the gross weight exceeds the 60 percent of the weight limits provided in Wisconsin statute 348.15(3) or the operation of a vehicle in which the vehicle exceeds the size requirements provided in Wisconsin statute 348.05(1), 348.06(1) and 348.07(1).
Right-Of-Way Permit - Download Permit to perform miscellaneous work in county right of way.
State Driveway Permits - Download Use this application/permit to apply for connection to a state highway. Exp: STH 64, STH 180, USH 41, USH 141 or USH 8
Utilities Permit - Download A permit must be obtained from the Marinette County Highway Department for utility construction or modifications on or across any Marinette County Highway right-of-way.
