Camp Bird is owned by Marinette County and is located on County Forest land 16 miles west of Crivitz. It is nestled among Red pines and mixed hardwoods and sits on the shores of Sand Lake.

Scenic Location 
This beautiful camp is located on scenic Sand Lake (20 acres in size). The camp offers a swimming beach, docks, canoes, rowboats, stream and lake fishing, 10 acres of mowed lawn, and hiking trails among large Red pines and mixed hardwoods. 



Convenient Accommodations
There are 42 log cabin style buildings including 24 sleeping cabins with electric and can accommodate groups up to 230 people.  The camp has a modern kitchen, a dining hall, two shower buildings with flush toilets, a nature center, a recreation building, and a low ropes challenge course. 

Available For Rent
Camp Bird is available for rentals from the third week of April through the middle of October. The camp was primarily delveloped as a youth camp and provides a safe and educational experience to a variety of returning youth groups including schools, scouts, social service agencies, and religious organizations.

Camp Bird can also accommodate non-youth/adult groups such as universities, environmental education, corporate retreats, family reunions or weddings as either a day use event or an overnight(s) stay.  Please see the attached link for pricing and additional details on non-youth/adult groups.
